This started out as an excellent title and If I am reading it right it ended well.
spoiler[ 1) First, I want to smack Kyoichi upside his head. He had Chiharu, then the Mountain Witch girl, and then the awesome blonde named Chiharu. And he didn't even kiss any of them. 2) Werent Chiharu and Kyoichi boyfriend and girlfriend? If so the she needs to be bitch slapped for kissing that guy in front of Kyoichi. Now admittedly it wasnt on purpose but especially after her "boyfriend" travelled all that way to see her and was holding her gift. If that aint a kick in the nads I dont know what is. 3) I was glad to see Mr baseball finally realize that he was in love with Horikawa and they hooked up. 4) And the Makoto hooked up with Yumi( loved her weird outfits like the Sea Otter). Perfect match in my opinion. And is it just me or did she look a whole lot cuter after she hooked up with Makoto? 4A) New Years Eve, It seems Chiharu had by that point decided she was in love with Kyoichi. When he ran away she said she would wait for him. Was he running away because he didn't want to face his feelings for Chiharu and possibly get hurt again? 5) And I would have been hard pressed to leave that hot blonde named Chiharu at the end. It seemed to me she really did like Kyoichi and did want to be kissed and loved but when he didn't reciprocate instead of having an embarrasing moment she played it off with laughter. Kinda like you say you love someone and they say excuse me and you say just kidding. The blonde Chiharu is lonely and wanted attention. Too bad she didn't find someone. 6) It seemed at the end when Kyoichi came back his High School sweetheart Chiharu was waiting for him. He said "Im back" and She said "Welcome Home". I assume that to mean they are back together and he has matured enough to be able to face his feelings for her. Toward the middle when Kyoichi and Chiharu had broken up I couldnt decide who I wanted to smack more. I thought the series had a great start, depressing middle, and ended very well. ] |
