Well, that's... disappointing.

I thought it would be more like FMA: BH with an higher quality animation than most Shonen series because it's from Madhouse Confused

I have yet to see its difference from the first series. The teaser doesn't reveal much, really. It's kind of ... meh. But it's still on the list of the anime I'm gonna follow.

Man that's scary. A new anime going for the look and feel of an older style. That's so daring when there are people that will not watch a show without the latest CG3DSmellO'Vision technology backing the story.

So this is going to be a remake rather than a sequel? Atleast the teaser hints it's a remake. Not sure I like that, I hope they cover the episodes of the original run quickly, I'm more interested in knowing what happens after the original run. Well that's assuming this new anime even gets that far.

Doesn't look old to me at all. Looks pretty modern actually, not that different from all the others.

Have you like completely ignored the massive decline in quality coming from Studio Madhouse over the last couple of years?

Well I didn't say it looks old either but if I were to compare the look of HxH(2011) to the original HxH, HxH - Greed Island, and any random new production anime I would say that while chronologically a modern anime, HxH(2011) has captured the look and feel of the older style from the original series and not new look found in Greed Island or new productions.

Looks terrific to me, I am looking forward to watching it when it premiers Oct. 2. Never thought I'd ever see another Hunter X Hunter anime, much less a remake.

I watched the original version and was lucky enough to be able to watch the Viz Media version as well. It's a exceptional anime and I am glad the look of the show hasn't changed drastically.

Sure it looks more modern in some area's, but the most of the original style has been kept.

Besides Bakuman, this is likely the only show I'll watch this season, so I am looking forward to it.

Who knows, maybe this isn't a remake and may very well be a sequel. Either way, it looks to be a entertaining show.
