ok, so I'm hunting down my geneon titles and it seems I'm having to resort to ebay for quite a few of them. Since there titles are OOP I really don't wan't to be picky anymore like I was in the past( only paying with money orders). There is a seller selling a item I want but accepts paypal only so my question is about how paypal works. I am probably going to get a wal mart visa or something since I don't have a credit card but would I Have to load the money into my paypal account, or do I pay the seller directly with a credit card like I would with any other store or something else.

You don't need to load money into your Paypal account before paying. It can take it directly from your checking account (not sure about savings account). Also, after you establish your Paypal, if you want to use a credit card through them you can do so as well.
There was this one time where I bought something but thought I had to wait for the money to appear in my paypal before paying, but I later found out that you can just leave your paypal at $0 and still pay for your ebay auction. It'll just take it out of your account (or charge your credit card).
It takes a bit of time to sign up for it though. I'm not sure if they do this now, but when I signed up, and linked the paypal account with my checkings, they did two small transactions of cash, and asked me what they had transferred. Once I entered the correct amounts after looking at my checking statement, it became verified.
I heard that you can pay through Paypal if you're using a credit card only. I don't know how the signup is for that

The sign up is relatively simple, as I did it a few months ago. It just gives you an option to assign a credit card to your account, and I think that is the default payment method unless you specify otherwise, for example, if you also connected the account directly to your bank account.

Open a bank checking account (free at washington mutual). Usually a checking account you will also get a Visa or Mastercard debit card that you can used Debit and or Credit card and the money will be taken directly from your bank account.
Also, know that Paypal doesn't require you to use a credit card, you can open one up with a checking account. You can pay for item without any money in your paypal account, as long as you have money in your checking account.

well, the series I had to buy was ikki tousen, but I ended up finding it at another best buy today, but I went ahead and made a pay pal account and I think I understand what to do now if I need to use it in the future.
