Man, they tempted me into buying so much last year...I think I got all of Desert Punk, all of Samurai Champloo, and the second Trigun LE collection. I'm banking on Bandai releasing cheap Anime Legends sets for Eureka 7 though. If they release 2 collections of 6 DVDs at $50 MSRP each, that'll make it possible to get the whole series for $54 during a TRSI Bandai sale.

If bundles were included in this sales I'd be mad, but as it's just individual DVDs it doesn't effect me any.

I forgot, it's THAT time of year. I can't wait to see what else they're going to put up this season. Hopefully they're something I can afford.

Day 3 has the two Chobits half-series boxes for $48.99. Too bad I already bought them 2 years ago for around $35 each

So who wants to bet day 7 will be Dragon Ball related. Or has that been done already?

Last year's list also had this but at slightly more of a bargain. I guess it goes to show how price can rise when the supply becomes limited. Altough the actual list price remained the same, just the amount taken off changed. |

The individual Chobits DVDs were also available during the buy 25 for $100 deal last year ($28) for even cheaper. Also the Inuyasha standard edition movie collection box set is about 50% (I think $30) off at amazon. |

Today's deal is My-Hime bundle for $70. Pretty good price on one of my alltime favorite series although I already own all the dvds and the nice box.

It's updated now. Was posted on another site earlier before they added it to list.

Damn, that is a good deal. $10 a DVD. I already have it all too, with box. I think I would actually be mad if they included the box with the deal. Edit:
How important is the 7th volume to the overall series though? Some recap episode have some new material as well, while others have none. I am actually playing around with the idea of getting this, so that's why I am asking. |

It seems they don't always add the new item at midnight, because I was hoping to see what day 4 had in store last night. Like others in this thread, I'd definitely jump on that My-Hime deal if I hadn't already bought them as they came out -- I'd just go and buy an extra Vol. 7 w/Box, kind of like I did with Desert Punk last year.
Vol. 7 of Chobits isn't extremely important, since episodes 9.5 and 18.5 are just recaps. But episode 24.5 provides a nice epilogue on the series, and the "Chibits" short is included as an extra. And of course, many of us are obsessive completionists who must have everything, so Vol. 7 fills that need as well. Luckily it can be found for less than $10 on Amazon. I almost wish that Geneon had just distributed the recaps across the other discs in the airing order -- they're spread out enough that they don't drag the show down, unlike that one series about canines and precipitation |
