Hey, has anyone ever watched fruit baskets? I think a friend's gonna lend me the dvds. I read the first manga, it was pretty good. You know the 'prince' and Kyo, that's wierd, how come the rat always beat the cat, makes no sense...
By the way, can someone give me a little preview of what's gonna happen next? Shirogane is funny...I like dogs. Anyway, who's the horse? Is it a girl or a boy? Who's the sheep/ram? |

Fruits Basket is a great, great series!
As for the answers to your questions, watch it and they'll get answered. You were a bit sporadic with your questions, so that's the advice I'm going to give you right now. If you have read the manga, you should've already figured out why the rat always beats the cat. It's only 26 episodes long, so it won't take you long to get through it. The manga goes on further than the anime, though, so you should keep reading the manga too! Also here is the encyclopedia page for Fruits Basket. I watched the series. It was nice in the beginning, the characters were memorable, and there are a few nice side stories here and there, be them sad and well.. Quite well paced on the whole, and quite entertaining too.
The only thing I didn't understand about the anime was the ending. Well, I wouldn't want to spoil it for you, but try to understand it. I didn't think it was a conclusion at all. Anyway, just a note, I dun think this is a spoiler so I just say it. Not all of the animals in the zodiac appeared. Unless I'm mistaken. Anyway, happy watching. |

Yeah, the ending was a bit of a cop-out. But, I think it fit in perfectly with how the series went. Like I said, if you want the real ending, read the manga.
And, no, the horse does not make an appearance in the anime. |

I watched FB quite a while ago and loved it. To this day its in my Top 5 anime. Its one of those titles that keep you watching till the end without you looking at the clock. No second is boring. I never read the manga but what I heared about is that there arent all manga character in the anime
 . My favorite character "Ayame Sohma" . Very funny character  .
