Hi,I am wondering if this series has been released on DVD in english?
I have found it in a box set but the info didn't say wether it was in english. I really want to buy this series and any help would be appreciated. |

anime#1523 Nope, doesn't look like it. It's pretty old, too, so I think the chances of it getting a domestic release are pretty slim. **These titles aren't linked in the encyc as being related to each other. Tiger Mask II should have something stating it's a sequel to Tiger Mask, shouldn't it? |

I`m not sure about the sequel,all i know is i seen this show dubbed in italian years ago,although i cant understand italian i watched every episode lol.
I just thought it may have been dubbed or atleast subtitled in english on dvd. |

Wow, so it is based on him, the inovator of cruiser-weight wrestling. I wonder if any other real wrestlers make an apperance in this series.

Im not sure if its based on any real wrestler,the series was made from 1969-1971,so i dont know when the real "tiger mask" wrestled.

The actual wrestler Tigermask is based on the show, not the other way around. Unless I'm mistaken, the wrestler made his professional debut in the mid 1970s.
