Why on earth are the third and fourth volumes of Paradise Kiss so hard to find in the purple covers?
My friend found the fourth one for me for my birthday, but there's no luck with the third one. Does anyone know where to find the third in a purple cover? |

I would try ebay. Since they re-released the Paradise Kiss series with the ugly brown covers, the purple ones are kinda hard to find.

Used book stores, like Harvest Books for starters. And half.com. Here's a search result list for Paradise Kiss. Sadly, nobody has #3. And Amazon has a service where you can either buy the book new, or get it used. nobody has it, but you can make an offer to buy it and see if anyone will bite. Oh, and Guess how much a Purple #4 goes for. |

It's because the purple ones are so much nicer to look at than the brown ones...why did they re-release them anyway? |

I hate that they released the ugly covers! I couldn't find the 3rd one aaaaanywhere (it was hard enough to find the 2nd and 4th) so I pounced on the 3rd one when I saw, even though the cover is ugliness. And I wanted Miwako
 It's becaused they released Parakiss quite awhile ago...
You're kidding, they re-released Vampire Game with a purple side? My sister will be mad! She hates that her first volume doesn't match her others, but no point in buying another new copy. (same doesn't go for Parakiss, if I find the old version of the third, I'm totally buying it) |

The First Edition is Green (10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1); 2nd edition is Purple (10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2) according to the publishing info in the books that I have on my bookshelf.

The reason why they released a new one is probably because they had one page of Initial D in Volume 2. They have the old covers in Kinokuniya in Downtown Little Tokyo, but Volume four is definitely hard to find. I've got Volume 3, though.
