Interesting that it took this long for this to get licensed... Only for it get licensed by Maiden Japan instead of Sentai, further proving that Maiden Japan's only real licensing trend is that all of its shows have to have a female lead. Anyway, I hear that this show is the better of the two, but I should probably watch the first show, which I bought when it came out, before considering getting this newer show.

Every time I see Maiden Japan in a headline my heart starts pounding in excitement that they have picked up Zombie-loan.
*le sigh*
Hey, Zombie-loan has a female lead...

I see Sentai has once again proven to me why I can never boycott the company over their subtitled products.
Polyphonica was a hidden gem for me and the series is very nice. Make no mistake, those who are thinking in rushing to TRSI's store and ordering, it's not a great series.
It takes an appreciation of motorcycles carrying collapsible organs to control spirits to solve the problems of mortals to warrant a purchase.
The animation starts to tank around episode 6 and the chase scene still remains one of the ugliest I've seen in a long time.
Still, it has its charm.
