Well, the AM3 cards for the japanese card reader version of the GBA are now able to download anime episodes for about 300 yen onto rewritable cards. At the moment, its only pokemon episodes, but they're going to be expanding. I guess it'd go perfectly with you're new Naruto GBA SP.
It's in the Japan Report of the latest Tips and Tricks.

I'm kinda confused here. How does this have anything to do with anime stations in Japan? As far as I knew, there isn't anything in Japan like The Anime Network which plays only anime.

Wrong type of stations. You're talking TV, he's talking kiosk. They're little machines similar to an ATM where you plug in a rewritable GBA card and download a video. These have actually been around for years, Nintendo used to use them to download SNES and GB games. Never been to Japan to say for sure, but these things are supposedly common in 7/11's and other convenience stores.

I think I saw one when I was there in 2002, for the (then-new) Fire Emblem GBA game. I didn't see any this time around, though..

OK, that makes sense then. Don't know anything about those in Japan, however Wal-Mart here in the States and probably a few other stores sell cartoons pre-loaded on GBA cards. Of course $20 for 2-3 episodes that can only on a GBA is kinda high, especially since the series they have aren't all that great.

That's why i find the kiosks there so cool. It's 300 yen ($3) for one episode of an anime. So much better than what you pay for on a DVD. Sure, the quality must be a lot worse, but its so cool that you can just pick up an anime episode at a 7-11 along with a double gulp.

This is a really cool idea. It would be cool to be on the job working and pull out your GBA and just view an anime while the boss isn't watching.
