Well it's a pity because the original version is much better than the dubbed one.

^This
The dub isn't that bad but it was back before FUNi was still finding their footing so it's not very good.

Heiji and Kazuha! This is gonna be a blast.

But on a side note, Shizuno Kobun's directing is more incline to action scenes rather than mystery. I remember the movies made by Kodama Kenji and Yamamoto Yasuichiro were more mystery-driven, but not that I don't like Shizuno's direction. But I reckon Movie 21 will be Shizuno's last helming. Kodama handled seven movies from 1-7, Yamamoto handled 8-14 and going by that trend, Shizuno should have his final hurrah in this 21st film. I wish Masato Satou can be the next director of movies. That guy is a pure genius, albeit his Denpa Kyoushi direction.

But anyways, already looking forward on this 21st movie.

I'm a bit glad they didn't go further with "Case Closed" cause I can't imagine how localizing would work for some of the cases and clues. They really pushed some stuff hard for the movies to fit into naming schemes but it seemed too forced since the original content was so rooted in Japanese. They even warped people's backstories to fit clues.

Another movie is coming out and it's a month after Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions home release. That movie released 1 week after Junkoku no Nightmare in theaters. Konami must be stopped.

Holy crap, Movie 20's home release was delayed a couple weeks because everyone was preordering it and it still came out a month ago. What are they doing over at Konami?

I've been on Youtube recently and I've thought up a pretty weird idea. In the 1970's,NBC had a series called "The NBC Mystery Movie" with a theme song done by a guy called Henry Mancini, who did a lot of music for movies and television. I thought to myself "Why doesn't someone use that theme song and look at the sequence and redo it with mystery anime like "Case Closed?" Some of you guys might go to Youtube and have a look. I admit, that sounds like a weird idea but what do you guys think about it?
