I finally caught up with Land of the Lustrous, and I can see why fans have been so taken by it. I don't see anything particularly noteworthy in this week's charts, but I agree that the current top 5 in the cumulative are the best shows of this season.

Very happy that Land of the Lustrous has gotten the praise and highest ranking that it has. That doesn't always happen with shows that I feel deserve it, so it warms my heart to know that others feel similarly. On the other hand it's kind of lame that Osomatsu is ranked pretty low for whatever reason. Given it's a sequel of a cult hit and sequels tend to fair better thanks to most of the people watching being holdovers who already liked the original, I'd expected better. It's not like the season has been underwhelming or anything. Perhaps ANN's user base just isn't as enamored with the show. Crying or Very sad

Also I really need to watch Magus Bride and Girls Last Tour before the end of year ranking comes around.

I could see Girls' Last Tour dropping a bit next week for its final episode if as many things are left open as they are right now. Don't get me wrong, it's a good, relaxing show, but not much happens, and the mystery element has been sort-of an afterthought so far.

Wait so is BBB&B's episode 10 the one actually counting? 'because it's a bit weird to have a show pending a review be the best episode of the week.

Yes, it is counting episode 10. I'm not sure but it might be replaced in the next entry once the episode review comes out. Doesn't hurt that its last episode was highly rated.

But it is unfair for the other shows. And episode 11 will likely not rate as good as episode 10. This reminds me of Planetarian because its fifth and last episode had a good rating, and it automatically kept earning high ratings for 7 more weeks.

The rankings will be rectified sooner or later, so BBB&B's lucky break is only temporary, so I don't see it as very concerning. Planetarian was an outlier in number of episodes, so I didn't think it was that concerning either.
