While I did enjoy most of the characters, I would of liked the show a lot more if they had more battles, and didn't incorporate those 3DCG models.

I had zero clue this was NisioIsin. I've only seen up to episode 7 (I like to watch them in big chunks) so maybe it changes, but it did remind me a little of Katanagatari in that it's a show whose premise would make you believe it's going to be nonstop battles but the battles are all pretty short and the bulk of the episode is people talking.

I never got used to how fast the fights ended. I guess I didn't expect that people whose jobs revolved around killing and surviving would consistently make the mistake of underestimating their opponent.

Well these are people who are usually curbstomping their opponents, salvo maybe one of them (Sheep). It did get fairly annoying particularly with Ox though, because it seems he kept getting one-upped by Rabbit.

About the show: I liked it. It's nowhere near my favorites of the year - it'd be on the lower half - because of the amount of episodes that just aren't good, like a third of them. The ones I did think were good were pretty good, and I left the series thinking I enjoyed these characters more than I didn't. The final episodes gave me food for thought, and I liked that.

Pretty lackluster and mediocre series wether it was intentional or not a waste of potentia and time it will most likely be forgotten after 1 or 2 more seasons a definite pass only thing I recommend from this abomination is it's nice ending theme other than that you're better off watching "Deadman Wonderland" or "Future Diary" since even with their flaws they handle the genre wayyy better than this thing

Doesn't the ED sequence give away something important? namely, spoiler[who is going to win and the order in which the losers will die?][/spoiler]
