Was a synopsis necessary? The title tells you what the series is about.

How is this not based on a gacha game? Just based on the title alone, I figured it would be based on something, but it just appears to be light novel turned manga turned anime.

I can confirm that the anime will be based on the manga. The picture in the article shows all members of Gathering of Tribes including those characters which were later added to the manga adaptation of the novels.

The light novels' title is tantalizing, but what is the series about?

These series tend to do well regardless of their merits so the marketing department probably doesn't have to sweat it much, but I wish that instead of a synopsis which, I mean, we can kinda guess what it's about from the title, they just sticked to pointing out what, if anything, is different about their story vs the avalanche of "banished from the hero's party" stories they're obviously taking heavy inspiration from. As it is it reads like I've already watched this show a handful of times.

It's basically "Unhinged Fantasy Racism: The Novel."

As it was mentioned it is an OP revenge story. His party tries to kill him for being weak, being a human, and for wasting their time for not being what they were looking for. Trying to crawl away from the final finishing blow, he sets off a teleportation trap and is sent to the deepest pit of the dungeon.

So you know the saying, when you hit rock bottom, there is only one way to go, UP. Of course, you could die also, but that is not mentioned.

So he wants revenge on his party members and try to find out who killed his family, after they thought he was dead.

It is an OP revenge story, but for me it has enough action, mystery, cast of characters, and politics to keep me interested and entertained. Which is a far cry from what "I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic" offers, which is OP drivel and boredom.

Which characters weren't? spoiler[Demon, Oni, Dwarf, Centaur, Elf, Dark Elf, Beast, Dragonewt], all of them are present in the novel.
Besides, those are not the manga's character designs.

spoiler[The centaur Center, the demon Oboro and the ghoul Diablo] were added to the manga, so the Gahering of Tribes features eight members excl. Light. The original Gathering of Tribes only featured the spoiler[dragon kin Draggo, the elf Sasha, the dark elf Shion, the beastman Garuu and the dwarf Naano]. And the poster features eight silhouettes from the gathering of tribes, so I assume the anime will be based on the manga series.

But spoiler[Diablo, Oboro and the Centaur(which hasn't yet had a storyline in the novel at least in the English-published novel volumes, but the two others have)] ARE in the novel?

Edit; Are you perhaps referencing the webnovel version, that would explain the differences?

Yes? Just because the title tells you the premise doesn’t mean it tells you the whole premise.

As the light novels are not published in Germany, I can not say if they were already added in the LN's. I am reading the manga on a third-party site.

I'm pretty sure you are referencing the webnovel. This is from the afterword of the first proper novel volume;
Quote:
This book is a revised version of the web novel series I submitted to Shosetsuka ni Naro, the website operated by HinaProject Inc. This book contains new scenes, new characters, and a host of other elements not found in the original Naro version. In that light, I believe those who have already read the Naro version will be able to enjoy this book version every bit as much as newcomers to the series.

spoiler[Diablo, Oboro and Santor(Center)] are already mentioned in this first volume.

It's not that the anime is adapted from the manga. It's that both the anime and manga are adapted from the light novel, which itself is a reworked version of the webnovel...
