Yeah, that's a major error.

There's also rumors of Puyo Puyo Tsu and Columns, two of my childhood classics are coming to the 3DS in the future.

I can't wait for TGS 2015 especially with Idolm@ster 3 looming on the horizon, if Namco-Bandai can surprise me by bringing in characters I want for the game(Nina, Arisu, Kaoru, Aiko, Sae, Momoka, Kozue, Yoshino, etc.), it will give me a reason to keep my PS4. Then there's also that Gundam vs game as long as it's not a remake/remaster and just an updated version like Full Boost or Maxi Boost or a complete sequel, that's a day 1 buy. Also Tales of Berseria needs a release date.

Sega needs to announce something for consoles or handhelds at TGS and it needs to be something big, this is their last change because if it is just mobile games or a pachinko game, they've pretty much killed themselves on the world stage. If they don't have this, they can always save face and back out, preventing embarrassment and shame because the world is watching, even though they may or may not realize it.

D3 needs to announce a new Earth Defense Force title on consoles or handhelds and maybe show some gameplay on Omega Labyrinth.

Konami pretty much is irrelevant in the industry after the crappy baseball game announcement, they didn't even try. I see why they have Tokyo Xanadu (a good Falcom game) in their booth for trying out. Nice try Konami but you get only 1/100, an F-.

Square Enix has a nice special stage for DQ Builders and I'll be watching that for sure. I hope their secret announcement is that rumored Front Mission game or SaGa.

I also hope there will be nice surprises from the SCEJA conference like last time.

3D Puyo Puyo 2 was apparently confirmed this morning, along with a second game, but I don't remember what it was.

Wonder Boy movie: Wow, they seriously were trying to make a movie out of Wonder Boy? What a horrid notion, just like with that other travesty. Can't these airheads figure out that cartoony style games were never meant to be serious and gritty live action flicks? You can certainly try to do that, but you're only going to get laughed at for it.

Trailers looked dreadful in their fusion of live-action and GC, and few people were even aware the movie existed.

Five years after the Wonder Boy movie's supposed release, it's hard to find any trace of the film.

I think that's for the best, Todd.

Project X Zone 2: The latest batch of character updates is quite interesting as always:

*Zephyr and Vashyron becoming partners while Leanne takes the role of the solo unit is the only change for the returning gunners of Resonance of Fate. This setup technically fits the actual backstory of how Vashyron took Zephyr in before Leanne joined the duo.

*Shadow from Space Channel 5 Part 2 is an interesting choice, right down to his Dreamcast textures. He'll be zapping us with dancing robots, though I wonder if Ulala is going to point out that Shadow is Jaguar and ask why he's back in costume for the Rhythm Rogues.

*Zagi from Tales of Vesperia is fine, since Yuri, Estelle and Flynn had no rival in Project X Zone to hurl insults at. People were expecting him before too, since the chamber in Tarqaron where you fought him for the last time was a battle map in the first game, though he was only verbally hinted at. They likely chose him because Ichiro's voice actor was also Zagi's in the Japanese version of Tales of Vesperia, so there's some convenience there.

*Since Haseo is going to be Kite's partner instead of BlackRose, it's no surprise that Tri-Edge is making an appearance. Obviously Haseo will be flying off the handle when this Kite clone shows up.

*B.B. Hood is actually quite a surprise, since they never seem to pick any other Darkstalkers beyond the usual batch of ladies and Demitri. Unfortunately, considering she was chosen to represent humans as the "true monsters of the world" (blah blah blah with this), she probably won't be joining the team, unless one of the characters makes a promise of a huge cash reward to make her switch sides or something.

*Heihachi returns yet again, but this is the least surprising announcement. The whole Devil Gene subplot is still ongoing and since Kazuya is back after his disappearance in Namco x Capcom, it's obvious he'd return to keep an eye on both his son and grandson.

I can't wait for this game, but it sucks we'll have to wait until February 2016 for it.

I am sad that Yoko Takahashi is not returning to do the opening and ending theme for PXZ2. I've never heard of Marina, but hey, its not like we'll get the actual songs anyway after what happened last time...

What happened last time that Project X Zone 2 won't have an actual opening and ending song? Confused

They most likely couldn't get the rights to use them overseas.

Wing Wanderer was given an instrumental version for the overseas release of PXZ. It's very mediocre without the lyrics and the instrumentation is different. Suffice it to say, it was disappointing to hear.

Today is also the 16th anniversary of the Dreamcast in America.

I recently backed the Saber Rider video game which actually would have the Dreamcast version available if funded:

I don't mind CAPCOM's Monster Hunter series, but I admit it's lacking in personality compared to the apocalyptic anime styling of Gods Eater Burst or the grisly depths of Soul Sacrifice.

For what it's worth, there's a goofball, Loony-Toons-esque atmosphere to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate that I find enduring. From all the introduction CG movies, one would think that the Monster Hunter series has a serious and dire narrative behind it. A lot of the time, it's anything but that.

LOL this isn't 1999 champ the Sega that used to do big things is a distant memory.

I don't know about the anime or manga but he along with all the other male characters were never shown up until the more recent games.

Yeah it's really nowhere near as serious as some people make out
