While I do like Chun Li's old design would it be wrong to say that cover is "smoking". Man Chun Li's a gorgeous woman. And Ryu the ever gruff man. It's a really gorgeous cover.

It feels like KoF is old Doctor Who compared to Street Fighter's classic Star Trek. I remember when XII came out there were comments about how the graphics look like a Super Nintendo game and just laughed it off. It's a real shame though because SNK has such an edge over their competition when it comes to characters and lore. Really hope their approach of Quantity over Quality pays off.

Also fun trivia for you. Angel is supposed to be The Rock combined with Haruka from FLCL. In 2002, they even got the same VA, can't tell if they got the same VA here since it's been so long, but hopefully they did.

I take it that when Square Enix says that FF7 will be in multiple parts they mean like how FF13 was handled. I can't imagine they would be able to follow the episodic approach of companies like Telltale if each installment is supposed to be the length of a full game.

The USB OST situation gets even worse... the bug only affects Windows computers... because the OST will only PLAY on Windows computers. The tracks are hidden, and only the proprietary software will play them... and the proprietary software is an .exe that's reported to not work on either a Mac or a Linux/Unix box.

She's also Mexican, and my favorite KOF character.

This is the pettiest thing ever, but I kinda wish SNK put a tilde in her name ("Ángel") so we know it's pronounced "Ahn-hell" instead of "Ain-jell". I mean, we already have a guy named "K'"...

I think sh'e sgot nonnon from kill la kill's voice now.

got more angel trivia, her name is angel, which is a male name in mexico, because she's the result of a bet between snk mexico staff (evoga back then , iirc) and snk japan staff, so if a mexican won the bet, they woudl put a chaarcter of his choose in the game; angle decided that the character only would have his name and not his likeness (he's a "generic" brown and chubby mexican male on his 20s ).
back then a bunch of mexican artists were working in the rage of the dragons game, they later disbanded and got random jobs in the mexican magazine industry, comics and one is working in the angry birds anime.

On FFVII: Whenever Square starts trying to experiment it's a good time to ready your criticism shotguns because you'll likely be firing them.

Yakuza: There are so many ways to waste time in the game it just boggles the mind. 0 also coming over is great because until then the only way Westerners had to play as Majima was the frustrating Dead Souls.

KoFXIV: SNK really should have stylized it more. It was just a waste to throw away those sprites from XIII

Psychonauts: Just give me a Brutal Legend 2 Kickstarter already.

I thought Tetsuya Mizuguchi retired from making video games. If he's back, that gives me hope for another Meteos game too.

By the way, there really WAS a sauropod with a head shaped like a vacuum cleaner head. I cannot recall its name, and I spent a couple of hours furiously looking through Wikipedia, Google, and old dinosaur books I have and still cannot find it. I remember seeing an illustration for it somewhere in a book I have--the idea is that this dinosaur's wide mouth allowed it to eat a lot of vegetation on flat ground at once.

Then again, it might not have even been a sauropod at all.

We might see Kasumi Todo! And Eiji Kisaragi! And maybe even Alice Chrysler and Moe Habana and G-Mantle and World Heroes characters and Sulia from the Fatal Fury movie!

Alice Chrysler is allegedly in the game. She was on that leaked roster that came out awhile ago: http://shoryuken.com/2015/11/04/king-of-fighters-xivs-roster-may-have-leaked-months-ago/

Or like .Hack// games where the progress carries over, including all exp, lvs, side quest progress, equipment and items. Which I believe would more well received than having to start over each game at level 1 with nothing.

Final Fantasy VII Remake: Since the game will be released in multiple entries, that's certainly going to create a different experience from the original title. Instead of swapping discs to move on with the story, it'll be waiting for another entry to continue where we left off with everything that's been gathered up to the last point. As Mune put it, it sounds like .hack in that sense.

Indivisible: So awesome that they managed to reach their goal, and with extra to boot. I think we can all agree we're looking forward to this game.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom: I haven't yet played the first Ni no Kuni, but I definitely like how this is shaping up from the trailer so far.

Well, in my case I think Yakuza 5 is the only reason for breaking a Physical only sale, and KOF XIV has nice gameplay, let's hope SNKP a good luck...

That Hot Version of the SFV cover has a nice Art, and F.A.N.G's design is cool and insane.

Okay, I went and took a look at some of the costume change shots. Chun Li is still Miss "thunder thighs" with her lightning kick. And of course what demonstration they use to pull this off but a bout against Vega (Balrog---damn why didn't they just keep the damn names the way they were, but we got it now for the past 15+ years).

But damn those moves. What Capcom needs to do now is create a new Darkstalkers (Vampire Warriors) game. I'm sure the gaming community could definitely get behind it.

Going off topic a bit. Not to knock these flashy realistic games like your CODs, Halo, Remember me or Uncharted. But we need to try to bring back some of the elements that made playing games a lot of fun during the Dreamcast and Playstation era. Hell give us a new Space Channel 5, a Jet Set Radio, Bust a Groove (Move), anything because right now just the few announcements we have been getting for titles being revisited like Shenmue or Onimusha, we need more. More variety to get folks moist in the pants. And by crackey, there better be another Bayonetta chapter.

Uh...erm...carry on. But the new SF game looks nice.

That reason is why their Sam & Max revival was a huge disappointment for me and I why dislike episodic games. Adventure games thrive when you have dozens of items and hundreds of screens to interact with. I remember the Sam & Max games only had around 6 screens and maybe 6 items to use as well. They also reused most screens in all the games. It didn't hold a candle to the original

In an RPG with persistant levels, items, and stats I really wonder how this is going to work. Maybe there wont be levels and items in the remake. Maybe it will be an action game that retells the story instead since the trailer showed us it's not a turn-based RPG anymore. I'm not sure how the Materia system would work in an action game. I'm very apprehensive about this whole remake overall. Barrett also looks a bit weird. He seems way too skinny. I miss him being huge and buff.
