Plot Summary: Utsu no Miko is a Shugenja, Friends of the People training at Mt. Kongo. The Shugenja rebelled against the Imperial Court. During a fight he is wounded and while unconscious his soul is in the The Dark Wasteland where the dead are still clinging to life. Here he meets a female soul which is on a journey to be reborn into the Celestial Realm. They both play the same song on their flute. Once awaken they start looking for each other. But the prince also falls for the Celestial princess because she is very pretty. The prince keeps her well guarded.
