2013's Top 10 Cosplay Outfits in Japan

Cospa, a major Japanese cosplay retailer, has compiled a list of the 10 most popular cosplay outfits in Japan in 2013. Following a successful year for Attack on Titan, including a performance of its theme song at the New Year's Eve Kōhaku Uta Gassen song competition, its short military jacket topped the list. Although the jacket was designed for normal use as well, it has overwhelmingly been requested for cosplay.

Also noteworthy is the appearance of the Shimakaze costume from Kantai Collection, a popular card game. Although it only went on sale late in December, it managed to reach the #10 spot, and Cospa expects it to remain popular into the new year.
