150 Fans Attend Cosplay 101 Workshop Ahead of Mumbai Comic Con

Comic Con India revealed photos of its Cosplay 101 workshop ahead of the Mumbai Comic Con. Two-time Indian Championship of Cosplay winner Akshay Churi conducted the workshop with cosplayers Tejal Mulik and Jeet Molankar.
150 attendees gathered at Sthamba Global Brewery in Andheri West to watch live demos from experienced cosplayers. The workshop covered costume construction, foam-based prop creation, professional VFX makeup, and wig styling. The workshop had step-by-step breakdowns of advanced cosplay techniques such as how to weather props for "battle-worn realism," how to layer highlights and shadows for depth, techniques in VFX-inspired makeup, and how to create a convincing metallic sheen on props.
Mumbai Comic Con takes place from May 9 through May 10 at Jio World Convention Center. Solo Leveling voice actor Taito Ban (Dr. Stone: New World, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten) and A-1 Pictures producer Atsushi Kaneko (Sword Art Online: Alicization) will attend Mumbai Comic Con as guests on May 9.
