The December isssue of Libre's Magazine Be-Boy published a new installment of Tarako Kotobuki's Sex Pistols boys-love manga on November 7. A sample of the new chapter is available online. Tokyopop's Blu imprint published the manga — which has no relation to the British punk rock band of the same name — in North America under the name Love Pistols. Sex Pistols was last regularly serialized in Magazine Be-Boy from 2003 to 2006, when the magazine was still owned by the defunct publisher Biblos. The most recent compiled book volume, volume #5, was published in Japan in 2006 and in North America in 2008.
The official website for the original video animation (OVA) version of Tarako Kotobuki's Sex Pistols boys-love manga has posted new character designs and screenshots on Wednesday. The latest designs feature the characters Ōshō Aogiri and Hoikushi. The first of the anime's two DVD volumes will ship with a "Yoi Kono Madararui 1" video extra in Japan on March 26, followed by the second volume on June 25.
The "science love fiction" story of Sex Pistols revolves around a high school boy who discovers that he is part of a select group of humans. These individuals did not evolve from primates, but from various animals such as leopards and black bears.
