Anime/Game/Film Composer Kenji Kawai Interviewed

The video game website GameSetWatch posted an interview with renowned composer Kenji Kawai (The Sky Crawlers, Ghost in the Shell: Innocence, Gundam 00) on February 24. In the interview, Kawai discussed how he became a musician after dropping out of college and how he started working with director Mamoru Oshii. He also talked about the differences between scoring video games and films, and his work on the soundtracks for The Sky Crawlers, The Ghost in the Shell movies, and the recently released live-action film Assault Girls.
