Summer Wars released on DVD and Blu-Ray

Summer Wars is released on March 28 by Manga Entertainment in DVD and Blu-Ray formats. Directed by Mamoru Hosoda, the acclaimed blend of family drama and Tron-style cyber-fantasy retails at £17.99 on DVD or £19.99 on Blu-Ray (both RRPs).
Manga Entertainment is also releasing Summer Wars in a double pack (pictured) with Hosoda's previous anime film, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. The double-pack's RRP is £24.99 on DVD, or £29.99 on Blu-Ray.
(Two more releases related to The Girl Who Leapt Through Time will appear in May. Manga Entertainment will release a 2010 live-action version on May 2; see story here. Also, Alma Books will publish the original novel on May 16; see story here.)
Other DVD releases on March 28 include:
Durarara!! Vol 2, Certificate 15. This is a two-disc set, released by Beez, with a running time of 220 minutes. RRP £27.99.
Bamboo Blade Complete Series 1, Certificate PG. This is a four-disc set, carrying the 26 episodes of the series, with a running time of around ten and a half hours. Despite the 'Series 1' title, no further series have been made to date. RRP £39.99.
Gundam 00 Season 2, Part 2. Certificate 15. Two discs, running time 220 minutes. RRP £34.99
