posted on by Egan Loo
The December issue of Square Enix's Monthly Big Gangan magazine announced on Thursday that Girl's High creator Towa Oshima will launch a new manga series called Futago Zaurus in the magazine's next issue on December 24. The new manga's story will revolve around twin sisters.
Comics One licensed Oshima's High School Girls manga in 2004 and DrMaster published all nine volumes of the manga between 2005 and 2008. JManga is currently hosting the first volume of the series. The manga inspired a television anime series in 2006. Media Blasters licensed the series for North America in the same year.
Yūya Sasagiri (Clannad: 4-Panel Manga Theater, Little Busters! 4-Panel) will also launch a new manga titled Blank in Monthly Big Gangan on December 24.
Square Enix launched its Monthly Big Gangan magazine on October 25. The magazine essentially replaced Young Gangan Big, a spinoff of the semi-monthly Young Gangan magazine that launched this past April.
