Crackle Service Streams Funimation Anime on Xbox Live

Funimation announced on Monday that Crackle, the free ad-supported streaming website owned and operated by Sony Pictures Entertainment, has acquired streaming rights to several Funimation series on XBox Live, including:

  • Big Windup!
  • Initial D: First Stage
  • Murder Princess
  • Negima!? Magister Negi Magi
  • School Rumble
  • Slayers
  • Vexille - 2077 Isolation of Japan
  • xxxHOLiC
  • Several other Funimation properties are already on, although they are listed as being sourced from Animax. Animax is an anime cable and satellite TV station in Asia, but Crackle is using the brand in North America for its anime properties.

    The additional Funimation titles include:

  • Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy
  • Baldr Force EXE
  • El Cazador de la Bruja
  • Le Chevalier D'Eon
  • Mushi-Shi
  • Oh! Edo Rocket
  • Project Blue Earth SOS
  • Crackle content is available on several Smart TV and set-top box platforms, PlayStation 3, XBox Live (requires a Gold membership), and via apps for Android and iOS devices.
