Media Blasters: No More Bakuman Plans, Anime May Go to Viz

Media Blasters answered a number of fan questions concerning the state of current licenses on its Facebook page over the past two weeks. The company confirmed it has no plans to release more Bakuman. on DVD due to sales, and the anime may go to Viz Media. Viz holds the license for the Bakuman. manga.
Media Blasters licensed the first season of Bakuman. last year and even announced a dub cast. The company released the first seven episodes on DVD but halted the second DVD set and the Blu-ray release.
The company also confirmed that "chances are 50/50" of a Sayonara Zetsubō Sensei release.
