The "Rejet Fes 2013 Viva La Revolution" event announced on Sunday that an anime adaptation of Rejet's Diabolik Lovers vampire drama CD/PSP game franchise has been green-lit for this year.
The story centers around the six sadistic Sakamaki vampire brothers (from left to right in image) Shū (voiced by Kousuke Toriumi), Reiji (Katsuyuki Konishi), Ayato (Hikaru Midorikawa), Kanato (Yuuki Kaji), Raito (Daisuke Hirakawa), and Subaru (Takashi Kondo). Yui Komori is a positive-thinking girl who nevertheless is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. In her second year in high school, she transfers to a new school — a night school for entertainers and celebrities — due to her father's work. There are rumors that there are vampires among the student body, and Yui ends up living with the Sakamaki brothers.
More details will be provided in B's Log magazine on February 20. The franchise already has a PSP game last October, and a Diabolik Lovers More Blood fan disc for the PSP will arrive this year. Character songs will be released starting in June.
Update: Diabolik Lovers More Blood will introduce four new transfer students (who happen to be vampires) voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, Ryohei Kimura, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, and Daisuke Kishio.
