First Thermae Romae film airs
The first live-action film adaptation of Mari Yamazaki's Thermae Romae manga aired on Fuji TV on Saturday, April 26 at 9:00 p.m. and earned an 18.6% rating. The second film adaptation also opened in Japanese theaters on April 26.
The live-action drama adaptation of Takahiro Kochi and Takashi Tajima's manga Gokuaku Ganbo aired on Fuji TV on Monday, April 21 at 9:00 p.m. and earned a 11.3% rating. The live-action drama adaptation of Koichi Endo's Shinigami-kun manga aired on TV Asahi on Friday, April 25 at 11:15 p.m. and earned a 10.1% rating.
