Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahō no Sho title character also joins PS4/PS3/PS Vita version of arcade game

Sega Games announced three new support characters for its PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita version of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition on Tuesday. They are:

Kana Iriya (Ai Nonaka) from Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu

Tomo Asama (Ami Koshimizu) from Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere

Zero (Karin Takahashi) from Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahō no Sho

Ai Nonaka and Ami Koshimizu are reprising their roles from the Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu OVA and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere television anime series, respectively.

Ecole and French Bread are developing the game, which debuted in Japanese arcades on July 28. The game will next arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita in Japan on December 17. LiSA (Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, The irregular at magic high school) is performing the game's theme song "ID."

The game adds new playable characters, such as The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'s Emi Yūsa/Emilia, Heavy Object's Quenser, The irregular at magic high school's Tatsuya Shiba, and A Certain Scientific Railgun's Kuroko Shirai. The game also adds new systems, such as the new ability to pick two support characters and switch between them every round, and it re-balances existing characters.

The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita port of Sega's first Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax arcade fighting game shipped in Japan in November 2014. Sega released the game in North America and Europe earlier this month.

The first game features 14 playable characters and 23 support characters from ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko light novel titles. The game was launched to celebrate the imprint's 20th anniversary. Mami Kawada performed the original game's first theme song "Belief."
