Shuffle! Game Scenario Writer Agobarrier Passes Away

Kadokawa's MF Bunko J Editorial Department posted a notice on Thursday to announce that adult visual novel scenario writer and light novel author Agobarrier passed away on March 22. The notice did not give a cause of death.
Agobarrier served as the scenario writer for Navel's Shuffle! (pictured at right) visual novel series (including Tick!Tack! and Really? Really!), the Tiny Dungeon series (including ~Black and White~ and Brave or Slave~), and Valkyrie Runabout among others. Shuffle! received a 24-episode television anime adaptation in 2005-2006, and the 12-episode Shuffle! Memories television anime in 2007.
Agobarrier published the first novel in his Yūsha to Maō ga Dengeki Dōmei! light novel series on January 25, it marked his debut work as a novelist. MF Bunko J stated that Agobarrier passed away while working on the second volume in the series.
