Yakiniku-ten Sengoku Comedy Net Anime Debuts on 'Ganma' App

The short anime adaptation of Fukumen Usagi's Yakiniku-ten Sengoku (Yakiniku Shop Sengoku) manga debuted its first episode on Comic Smart's free manga app and website Ganma! on Sunday. The anime will have 12 episodes that will debut every Sunday.

The manga's story centers on Sōji, who is kind but extremely timid. Sōji, whose nickname is Mop, starts his first job at the neighborhood yakiniku shop Sengoku. He struggles and grows together will his unique coworkers at the shop.
Katsumi Nagai (Musashi-kun to Murayama-san wa Tsukiattemita., Eddie) is directing, writing the script, and editing at Studio Placebo. Momoka Watanabe is in charge of planning and character design. Hiroyuki Mizoguchi is in charge of animation, and Kōji Shimoi is handling the art. Fumio Yasue is in charge of the sound effects, and Shinya Kiyokawa is composing the music.
Usagi Fukumen launched the yakiniku-themed heart-warming gag four-panel manga on Ganma! in 2013, and the series' 192nd chapter debuted on December 12. Ichijinsha released the manga's first compiled book volume in December 2016.
