Val x Love Anime Reveals More Cast, Theme Song Artists

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Ryousuke Asakura's Val x Love (Ikusa x Koi) manga additional cast members and theme song artists on Thursday.

The new cast members are:
(Note: character name romanizations are not confirmed.)

Hiyori Nitta as Sue

Rikako Aida is performing the opening theme song, and the voice cast members for the anime's nine Valkyrie sisters are performing the ending theme song in groups of three. The ending will have three versions and change every episode. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND is composing, arranging, and providing the lyrics for the ending song.

The previously revealed cast includes:

Yūya Hirose as Takuma Akutsu

Kaede Hondo as Natsuki Saotome

Ai Kakuma as Itsuyo Saotome

Rina Hidaka as Mutsumi Saotome

Yumi Uchiyama as Ichika Saotome

Yumi Hara as Futaba Saotome

Ayaka Shimizu as Misa Saotome

Rikako Aida as Shino Saotome

Maki Kawase as Yakumo Saotome

Kotori Koiwai as Kururi Saotome

The anime will premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS11 in October.

Takashi Naoya is (Luck & Logic, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Real Girl) is directing the anime at Hoods Entertainment. Tatsuya Takahashi (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Katana Maidens: Toji no Miko, Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) is supervising the series' scripts. Kiyoshi Tateishi (animation director for Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) is the character designer and chief animation director. TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND (Witch Craft Works, Kakegurui, Skull-face Bookseller Honda-san) is composing the music.

Yen Press is publishing the manga in English, and the company describes the first volume:

Asakura launched the manga in the magazine in December 2015. The eighth compiled book volume will ship on September 12.
