Booster Packs Feature the Season Finale Monsters from the Dark Signers' Storyline
El Segundo, CA (January 21, 2010) – Continuing its commitment of year-round support to hobby stores nationally, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) today announced plans for the company's first Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Sneak Peek event of 2010 featuring the soon-to-be released Absolute Powerforce booster set.
Absolute Powerforce (MSRP $3.99 per nine-card pack) will first be released at Official Tournament Stores participating in KDE's Sneak Peek on either February 6 and/or February 7, depending on the store's preference. The Absolute Powerforce booster set will be available nationwide at those hobby stores not participating in the Sneak Peek event, and at other retailers, on February 16. New for 2010, based on feedback provided by Official Tournament Stores, and beginning with the Absolute Powerforce Sneak Peek, each Duelist will be eligible to play in one Sneak Peek event per day.
Five unbelievable Synchro Monsters anchor the Absolute Powerforce 100-card set, including new trump cards used by Yusei and Jack, as well as the amazing new Sun & Moon Dragons of Rex Goodwin. Absolute Powerforce also includes a brand new X-Saber Synchro Monster and as an added bonus for long-time Duelists, The Gravekeepers return – having first debuted in 2003.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's animated series can be seen in the United States Monday through Saturday on Cartoon Network.
