Anisong Singer MindaRyn Unveils 6th Single Cover Photo and New Artist Photo in Collaboration with Nylon Japan

MindaRyn is a talented anime song singer from Thailand with a massive YouTube following of over 1 million subscribers. She has lent her vocal talents to theme songs for a variety of anime, including That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 and Arifureta - From Commonplace to World's Strongest Season 2. Notably, she gained significant attention for singing the theme song of the hit film That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond, which grossed over 1 billion yen at the box office.

She has just revealed the cover photo and artist photo for her upcoming sixth single “SURVIVE.” The photos feature her sitting on a vintage sofa, staring intensely at the viewer. The visuals were produced in collaboration with the fashion and culture magazine, NYLON JAPAN.

The vintage rock style of “SURVIVE” was inspired by the TV anime Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion, for which the song serves as the opening theme. The artwork showcases a new MindaRyn, with a bold change in hairstyle to match the vintage visual.

MindaRyn's sixth single “SURVIVE” will be released on May 24, 2023, and will appear in the April 28 issue of NYLON JAPAN. This marks her second anime tie-up in a row following the opening theme song of By the Grace of the Gods Season 2, which is currently airing.

The TV anime Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion will begin airing in Japan on April 10, 2023.

MindaRyn was exposed to Japanese culture from a young age due to her father's influence, and since she loved to sing, she began learning and singing anime theme songs.

After becoming a university student, she became more serious about her dream of becoming an anime singer and started a YouTube channel to post anime song covers. Her channel quickly reached 100,000 subscribers, earning her the Silver Creator Award. It currently has upward of 1 million subscribers.
