Miryokucon Brings Anime Celebration to Baltimore This Weekend

BALTIMORE (Aug. 26, 2025) -- Baltimore's fan-friendly anime convention, Miryokucon, returns this weekend, Friday, August 29, through Sunday, August 31, at the Lord Baltimore Hotel. The convention will feature music, video games and appearances from celebrity guests

This year's guest lineup includes:
Amanda C. Miller, the voice of Sailor Jupiter in Sailor Moon Crystal and Boruto Uzumaki in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Krystal LaPorte, known for roles in Black Clover, Re:Zero, and Beyond the Boundary.
Tom Laflin, the voice of King Gomah in Dragon Ball Super, making his first convention appearance
Kohei Hattori, a Japanese singer based in New York

Miryokucon's schedule is packed with highlights for fans of all ages. The cosplay contest will showcase the best in costuming creativity. Attendees can party long into the night on Saturday at the convention's dance, deejayed by Baltimore Club icon Ducky Dynamo. The Baltimore-based performance collective Super Art Fight will bring their one-of-a-kind live art and comedy showdown to the convention floor.

“Miryokucon is all about celebrating the things we love together—whether that's anime, gaming, cosplay, or just the joy of connecting with friends and fans,” said Tyler Waldman, Miryokucon Chair. “It's because of the fans that we came back and we can't wait to see everyone at the historic Lord Baltimore Hotel.”

Membership is $60 for the whole weekend. Badges will be available at the door. Single-day memberships are also available.
