| Hayate the Combat Butler (TV) | So-so | Let's see..... It's a story about a maid who has a ridiculously high debt to pay to someone, so they become the servant, basically, of the someone's every whim. And instead of paying down this debt at the end of each episode, the debt is raised exponentially. It's full of loud, slapstick comedy that isn't really funny. There's some sort of talking animal (alligator, tiger, bear, cat, etc....), but the maid is the only one who knows it talks.
Hasn't this been done to death??? Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, then wore out the t-shirt...... Something new, please!!!!!!!!!
OH one more thing --- this is a 52 episode anime??? Are you KIDDING ME???!!! |
