Does anyone else besides me think that kid must have been absolutely terrified by those characters?

Well, he didn't look very excited. What characters did everyone recognize? I recognized DekaRed, but that's it.

Oh, please, please, please, let one of the two people in the costumes of whichever magical girls those are supposed to be in fact be the same person who plays "Happy Sabrina"! Twisted Evil

Incidentally, this happened on the same day that the Bandai Museum was celebrating the birthday of Gundam character Char Aznable (I kid you not). Maybe they shoulda had the Red Comet put in an appearance, eh? Laughing

This should ellicit one single feeling from everyone: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwww"

A sweet gesture, ne? (Notice how they give it to the kid and not any other member of the family)

That's the neatest thing ever. Very, very sweet of them to do that for the kid. Cheers to Bandai for a wonderful gesture!

I agree, Gundam should have been represented by one of the people in the costumes, not only since it is one of Bandai's biggest and most successful franchises, but also since it was Char's birthday. Am I correct in assuming that the guy in red from the original Japanese version of Power Rangers?

From what I can tell, he's DekaRed, this past year's Red Ranger in Sentai, which will be used to make next year's Power Rangers: Power Rangers Space Patrol Delta.

Yes, I'm a Power Rangers fan.

The two girls are the main characters from "Futari wa Pretty Cure." I think they're called Cure White and Cure Black when they're transformed like that (never seen it, so not so sure about that. But I am sure that it is them.)

I can second that. Futari we Pretty Cure seems to be the show for young girls right now. Of all the merchandise covering the shelves in Japan right now Futari wa Pretty Cure merch. seems to be in one of the largest quantities.

The guy on the right is Kamen Rider Blade if anyone was curious. Heh, get the feeling the helmets obscure their vision just a little bit? Both DekaRed and Blade are looking off screen while the rest are looking right at the camera.

So, what are the chances that those two "girls" aren't girls at all... Wink

I said that already. I hope it's the kirigumi guy who dresses up as "Happy Sabrina".

He actually makes a pretty hot Natsumi Tsujimoto.
