Does this mean a better chance of getting 'Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer' animated? Smile

Guess that means Gainax is now officially and wholly artistically bankrupt and no different from DEEN or JCStaff.

They still have Hiroyuki Yamaga, Shouji Saeki and... um... Yeah, they're screwed, unless they find a bunch of promising newcomers.

Kinda of interesting I suppose even tho I'm not really a fan of his work..perhaps in a few years they will be animating full time.

Coooool!! I cannot wait to see what this studio comes up with!

Though I'll admit it makes me a little sad to see all of the people that make GAINAX great leave GAINAX. If the "founding fathers" are for the most part at Studio Khara and the coolest of the new guard have this new studio, that leaves my favorite studio rather bereft of awesomeness! So this is kind of good news and kind of bad news at the same time. Sad

this is interesting news i wonder what stuff they have planned.....but this is really bad news for medaka box since its going to be animated by gainax and with most of the top guys gone then it probably will have worser animation then dalian.

A studio of the best of Gainax? I have to look forward to what they do next.

...Gainax seems like it will be on shaky ground; I guess it's a game of "wait and see" for how good the stuff is they will be doing.

Cool, I've loved Imaishi's shows and his fun creativity, looking forward to what they have planned.

You know it'll be bad! In fact, almost all Gainax adaptations are looked at unfavorably, even ones that Anno did.

Oh yeah, I've always felt that GAINAX's adaptations are kind of embarrassing in comparison to their original works (though Kare Kano is a personal exception, and I feel like it improves on the manga a lot.) Though to be fair, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World and Melody of Oblivion were GAINAX originals and those were trainwrecks!

I remember someone posting on 4chan about the end of gainax because the big names were taken off the gainax staff page all of a sudden..........I'll be damn, they really left.

Interesting news, but I'll wait and let their work do the talking.
