They should call it Gundam AGE: Memory of a Subpar Show.
Actually, I don't have any memory of Gundam AGE. Asemu and Zeahart is the bromance part, right? It was so forgettable. |

Personally, I think a condensed, recompiled focus on the life of Flit Asuno, filling in the gaps, would've been better.

He was joking, the charge being that Gundam AGE is already so bad, nothing Sunrise can possibly do is going to make it worse. Yes, we know that yes it could get worse, but we're hoping it won't. To answer your query directly, the second generation was incredibly rushed. I don't know if this compilation movie will have any new animation, but if it does and if it expands on Zeheart and Asemu's friendship, then that would actually be a good thing. Of course, who knows if that will actually happen . . . |

The problem I have had is that the Cartoon Network was always moving around the many Gundam series or droping them so I couldn't see the whole series.

They only dropped the original MSG. G, Wing and 0080 aired in their entirety. 8th MS Team aired all but episode 12, due to some retarded censorship law. |

This. A thousand times this. I was one the fence after the 00 movie but AGE after the Flit ARC was just too insulting. Sad because AGE has potential. |

good for gundam age, however one thing that i never get is with sunrise, with all the other great series out there that (are manga) could really benefit from an anime, like Crossbone gundam?

Speaking of which, I hope that movie comes out eventually. I am so tired of mindless UC praising all the time. Enough of that already, the timeline is convoluted as it is.

Well considering the episode itself is kind of retarded and completely superfluous to what happened in the prior 12 episodes, CN unknowingly did its audience a favor. As for these films, well as much as Bandai wants to capture lightning in a bottle with its traditional compilation films, AGE really is one of those cases where no amount of editting could make it interesting. Hell, the thing was such a flop that I'm sure die hard gundam fans wouldn't be interested in it. |
