It doesn't seem to be constant, but often lately I've found that it's taking a long time to submit posts.

It was slow this morning, but it seems that everything's working normally (at least at my end).

If you press submit post, the post will be submitted, but if you wait it takes you to a page that asks you if you want to view your message. I found yesterday that if you having to wait, but if you pressed [Anime News Network Forum Index] or any of the other links to a forum section, it would take you to that forum, and you wouldn't be stuck waiting. Then you just have to access the thread that you posted in. That's how I got around yesterday.

The posts are going at a prety good speed with me, its just the PMs that are really slow. It takes around 45 seconds to send it, and if you click it twice it sends two sometimes. This happen to anybody else?

Slows down a lot when I check reported posts, doesn't matter when I check them either. Early morning, mid-day, late at night, they all go slower than normal.

It also slows down when I go to report a post. It'll fly through everything else, but regardless of the time of day, whenever I hit the report button, it's quite slow. A deterant for over-reporting? ^_-

Well now I'm having problems trying to even get onto the forums. Could this be another problem with the server like the imfamous one we had last time?

Exactly I press the report button then I normally go to an another tab and begin my post on a different topic. By the time I finish that post and check to make sure all the BBC code is correct the report still hasn't finished. Normally then I push the button once more and it will tell me that it's already been reported.
As for the slow down on the site, sometimes when I try to click the Index (But I had cable problems recently) it will move at a slower speed then most of the other pages.
Till next time,
Delta Kiral

I'm experiencing very slow posts when I want to reply to something as well. I'm useing IE but I don't know if thats the problem because i believe that I've read somewhere that Delta Kira also uses IE and that Tony K. uses Firefox (correct me if i'm wrong guys).

I use Firefox, yes. At this moment, the site is moving at normal speed on both browsers, so I don't know if it makes a difference or not.

I use Opera, and the site frequently slows down for me, not just when I'm submitting a post, but even clicking links can greatly vary in speed. It could have something to do with the varying traffic the forums/site get, but I can't be sure.
For me at least, simply clicking "Submit" and waiting for 2 seconds gets the post submitted, regardless of whether the next page has loaded or not.

I'm also now having this same problem, originally it was just when I reported a topic, but now when I hit submit it's taking way to long. But every other feature on this site is still moving at the same speed it normally does including opening topics.
