I'm almost positive that the last of us movie wont ever make it. Weren't they supposedly working on an Uncharted movie for years now? Thats just the deal with video game movies (and maybe its for the best to avoid stuff like dbz and the last airbender when anime were adapted)

Hollywood already made two Grudge films. Why do they need to make more?

I didn't like the last Grudge movies, but I like Sam Raimi, so.....mixed feelings.

Oh, it gets better. The first one was originally a direct-to-video film in Japan, which got remade as a theatrical feature by the director later. And then he went to America and remade it again. And now it's getting remade again!

So if the new Japanese film is also a remake...that means the same movie'll have been made 5 times! Somebody call the Guiness people!

Prince of Persia was the last theatrical video game adaptation to my memory (well, there was Silent Hill: Revelations, but I try to erase from my memory the butchering of my personal favorite horror game, and this is coming from someone who liked the first movie despite some flaws) and that was only four years ago. Video game adaptations may not be on most studios' highest agendas but that doesn't mean none of them will ever see the light of day.

As long as Bruce Campbell gets to trash talk the ghosts of the house, that's all good to me. Smile

Well then, I guess we'll never get a solid conclusion out of the original series...although God only knows what kinda direction that franchise was headed. This could be a good thing.

"HEY YOU, STAND UP STRAIGHT! EVEN A BROKEN NECK DOESN'T STOP ME FROM WAKING DOWN STAIRS. STOP CROAKING!"

"YOU KID, WHY DIDN'T YOU FIGHT YOUR DAD? STOP HIDING BEHIND THE STAIRCASE. STOP WHINING ABOUT A STUPID CAT."

10/10 would watch.
