I was lucky enough to see the trailer for this when I was at the movies here in Osaka last weekend, and it looks beautiful. This is par for the course with Ghibli, of course, but unlike Arrietty this actually looks like the character designs are actually straying from the usual Miyazaki style into something more uniquely Yonebashi. Very excited for this.

Now is it going to get a better poster since Miyazaki hated the first one. To be honest I could have thought of dozens of better renditions that would have worked that would have given a better sense of the film. I mean put both girls on the damn poster in some interesting and ethereal way. Now I'm done and I'm going to look for the trailer.

I cannot wait to see this movie......too bad it didn't run 2 months earlier as im currently in Japan on vacation...
