Ah that's cool. I wouldn't mind seeing that (w/subs of course). It would be great if they made another anime to promote it (like what they did for Parasyte) using some of the later books.

All the books and shot in 4K? With 22 episodes over three years, I'm a bit surprised they are releasing only four in year one. Apparently NHK really likes Uehashi Nahoko's works.

I bought the officially out-of-print Media Blasters Blu-ray because it has 5.1 audio on both tracks. Reviewers generally didn't find the interlacing in MB's 1080i version especially noticeable. Viz's release is in 1080p, but only has stereo 2.0 sound tracks.

I love Moribito and would actually like to see this pretty badly. I hope Crunchyroll picks it up.

This is so cool! I'd rather have an anime complete the story, but I'd watch this, too. And with 10 books worth of material, that's a lot of story to look forward to! Crunchyroll, I'm counting on you!

thanks for the link.

4K? ..yeah..right... people buying their 4K tvs now don't even know they are getting the low end models..

i'l upgrade when they have OLED tvs at an affordable price..

streaming in 4K ? 1 hour eat up 7-8GB of data.. do people even know their monthly internet data cap ?

when they are selling 8K tvs.. then it's time to upgrade to a 4K
