In my job with a large distribution company I've run across Navarre's name as a owner of companies. Sad to see them go this way.

It seems that Navarre's time is about to come to an end. Their name was a somewhat familiar sight years ago...

I think it's really sad because I remember when their name was on the intro to all Funimation's DVDs.

At least they are still existing as a company. If they were in Chapter 7 bankruptcy, that's where they close up shop.

Did Navarre ever do anything productive, or were they just a parasite buying and selling other companies??

They were a wholesaler of DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.

Says a lot about the decline in sales of that particular sector.
