From what I've read so far the manga is just the anime in book form. But it does explain things a little more clearly. I read the manga and rewatched some of the anime. The manga makes more sense.... if you can actually say that about this series.

Pretty sure there is with 11 light novel volumes and more to come. The rest will just not be told in manga form.
