Don't think so, because Namori is involved just as character designer. Most like it's some personal reasons.

Character designers are usually involved in more than just the character designs. They often work on certain sequences and key frames.

And she is not the anime character designer, but was in charge of character designs (aka concepts of it). And I definitely think that it is the cause at all - because manga creators are engaged that way very often without going hiatus, and of course, not going for it indefinitely.
So yeah - it's most likely for the personal Namori reasons, which she doesn't want to be disclosed.
