is sad when a freaking game company can take better care of a franchise than anime companies you know the companies that are supposed to stay arguably the most fateful and consistent when adapting something

Who said companies are supposed to stay consistent? The studios got license so they can make changes as they see fit even if they are incredibly bad.

You think they purposely ruin an Anime adaption and blow money? They were under the assumption they could potentially make it better and since it started catching up to the manga they had to find a way to continue it.
