Safe to say that it's not a popular show then.

It appears so. Wonder what it's streaming figures were like?

On the topic of Blu-ray I wonder if ANN knows that one of the show from last season. Shichisei no Subaru has the lowest amount of Blu ray bought since a decade, with a grand total of 58 sold.

Presumably it would be a reassurance that there will be bluray sales to cover the cost of producing them. I don't know how much it costs to release a show on bluray though.

How do you know that ? What website do you refer to ?
What about black clover ? BC is the most hated series and i'm curious about their sales.

Well, I'm not necessarily representative of the whole market but ... coming after the excellent Isekai Shokudou, and fitting real life cooking classes for half of the episode made me run away after the first episode.

I'm not very surprise of such results.

Black Clover really isn't THAT hated anymore. Many who disliked it at first changed their mind. And as BC is a popular anime, it also attracts hate.

And while it really doesn't sell to good (according to someanithing volume 3 only sold around 350 copies), it's main income isn't disc sales. Merchandise, licensing, commercials,...BC gets its cash elsewhere.

lol producing/releasing blu ray is pretty expensive to begin with so how on earth you expect a series i believe a short 24 ONA episodes(i mean like its so damn short like 10 mins long per eps.) and just exist for being a Japanese food advertisement, to release on bluray. Sunrise was just being smart here.

If it were subtitled I'd give it a preorder. But if they are having that much trouble getting it out the door I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

Worse still Isekai Shokudou pretty much tanked itself when it came to blu-ray sales (1200 vol.1). So this has no chance.

Did anyone in this thread even watch the show ...? I guess that makes 2 people including me.

I guess that answers any questions.

The list of rewards for added preorders is both a carrot and a stick; the 1000 preorder goal is pretty much the reason why anyone should watch Isekai Izakaya. It's really the only worthwhile part.

i liked the show but not enough to buy it via Japanese prices.

The rewards are actually neat, I like the actual animation frame and autograph.

it made me laughed that the top reward is to includes to live-action section of the shows, which was IMO the worst part of the shows. I can do without them.
