I enjoyed Root Letter and have been meaning to go back to it to get an alternate route/ending at some point. This seems... a bit odd, though. Interesting, definitely, but as something one might expect as an art project more than anything else. If it does well, though, that points to an area for extras for future anime/game markets.... So much is based off real locations in Japan (either as reference material or as explicit expies), that having more reference photography as BR/Extended Edition extras would be a nifty value-add.
