I'm not sure if this is a thing for your website, but can't you auto-format your site so that links can be auto-linked when it's pasted from a press release? It's super weird that all of the links don't work :/ If you're using WordPress, usually it's easy to add a link by highlighting the text and ctrl+k which auto-creates a link.

Hope you can use this feedback for your other press releases especially since Anime Expo is happening soon!
