You know what would be news worthy? the day when an uk anime release is actually released on the first planned date.

It's not based on a manga, so that makes sense... It's based on a light-novel series, which, in turn, is a rewrite of a web-novel. Outside of the usual leaving some parts out, it otherwise follows the source quite well.
