Nah, at least in this case, I think it's better for Puyo to be Puyo and not cross over too much. Are there any classic Puyo Puyo/Madou Monogatari characters in there? If not, those would be good additions to flesh out the character selection.

Speaking of, I mainly played the first Puyo Puyo Tetris for the story mode, and the tweaks there sound interesting enough that I'll probably pick this up at some point. Thanks for the review!
